Art Meets Fashion With Chloé

By Butterboom Writers  /  November 15, 2013

Ever wondered what it takes to make a Chloé dress? With the support of Maison Chloé, this process is brought to life through a unique performance designed by Olivier Saillard, Director of the Palais Galliera, Museum for Fashion of Paris, and renowned actress Tilda Swinton. Known as Eternity Dress, the performance follows the design of a single dress, from its measurement to the pattern creation, cutting, sewing and finally, the materialisation of it on Swinton’s body. The entire performance resonates with the history of fashion and explores the craft. Every night, the dress is made and unmade while on full display at the museum. Catch it if you’re in Paris!
