Anteprima Photo Exhibition: The Colors of Hope

By Butterboom Writers  /  April 17, 2012

Leslie Kee and Anteprima show their support.

Having visited the tsunami-stricken Miyagi prefecture during the aftermath of the disaster on March 11 2011, Japan-based photographer Leslie Kee was so moved to use his skills to touch others around him. Teaming up with Anteprima’s Creative Director Izumi Ogino, they launched ‘The Colors of Hope’ – a campaign dedicated to gain support for the survivors of the disaster through a series of colorful photographs.

Featuring 15 artists from 10 different countries, the beautiful photos depict the artists carrying variations of Anteprima’s signature wirebags, culminating in an exhibition and a book available for purchase at Anteprima stores worldwide. All proceeds will be donated to the reconstruction funds of “JOICFP” (Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning) for the Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster.
