Katherine Heigl‘s new movie, 27 Dresses, opens in Hong Kong today. You know her from Knocked Up and Grey’s Anatomy and some of us from her Roswell days. 27 Dresses is being marketed as this year’s The Devil Wears Prada, so will probably appeal to fans of that book and movie and the gorgeous Ms. Heigl is at the top of her career these days, unfortunately the reviews for the film are not quite as good as The Devil Wears Prada.

Other films opening today includes Cloverfield, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Rendition and Hong Kong film’s See you on You Tube (great title, eh?) and Japanese anime Atashin’chi The Movie. That’s a lot of choice this week, something for everyone. The boys will want to see Cloverfield, the girls 27 Dresses and everyone over 30 will split between Elizabeth and Rendition (which just won the Golden Globe for Best Original Score. hey, it’s something right?)

Tickets for all at the usual outlets like Cityline.com and Cinema.com.hk. What are we going to see? Find out in our review section tomorrow.
