Sustainable fashion is the new black, and H&M are leading the pack with a brand new collection. For H&M‘s latest Conscious Exclusive Collection, the Swedish retailer has created a 35-piece fashion collection which is out on April 7. Everything is made from sustainable materials like recycled denim, beads made from recycled glass and for the first time ever, wedding dresses.
Taking cues from the historical archive of The Louvre in Paris for inspiration, we see references of paintings and decorative arts like colours of dusty blues and powdery pinks inspired by French painter Gustave Moreau, cotton ball gowns with Trompe L’oeil prints, and two-piece designs with marble statues prints. After a whirlwind month of art events in Hong Kong, we’re happy to keep those creative vibes flowing!
Here’s a sneak peek of the collection modelled by Julia Restoin Roitfeld, daughter of former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld.
The price:
Blouses start from HKD$399 whilst wedding dresses start from HKD$1990
