The Gucci Spring Summer 2016 Collection is all about merging old with new. The collection is beautifully romantic with immaculate details to attention. Creative Director Alessandro Michel sticks to the 1970s geek chic theme he started last season and reintroduced fur slippers, lacy dresses and fitted silhouettes. The collection features a range of style including; ladylike suits, gypsy style long dresses, jewel printed fabrics, bright exotic colours, blouses with maxi bow that all add a vintage edge. In addition, in line with the “old with new theme”, Gucci redesigned the double G belt with the logo in gold and added the iconic green-red band onto a rectangular vintage bag. Overall, a quirky yet feminine collection, similar to Michele’s first collection last February. gucci3_butterboomgucci4_butterboom gucci6_butterboom
