Sinéquanone’s Fall/Winter 09 collection

French chic.

In 1973, Jacques Nataf created and launched Sinéquanone and, today, there are 302 sales points all over the world; as well as an impressive presence within Paris’ largest department store, the Galerie Lafayette.

Sinéquanone is designed by Chief Designer, Laurence Benat. The women who wear Sinéquanone clothes are not afraid to be themselves, with a style that is elegant, chic and, above all, genuine. We spoke to Regional Division Manager, Isabelle Allix, to ask her about Sinéquanone’s latest collection.

What was the inspiration for Sinéquanone’s Fall/Winter 09 collection?

Isabelle Allix: This collection is about the return of  black. It’s about a single item – like a black dress coat -becoming the soul of the entire outfit. Inspired by the Eighties, this collection has stripped away the gloss of that decade and updated it with Sinéquanone’s touch. The result is an elegant, feminine and stylish collection, where you will find a long coat paired with shorts and dress coats that are both spontaneous and girly. Shades of shocking pink, purple, grey and olive-green adds some refreshing splashes of colour to the collection.

What are your top 3 Must-Buys items?

Isabelle Allix:

  • The Boyfriend jacket
  • A black lace item, can be a top, leggings or a dress
  • Graffiti Tees

Who wears Sinéquanone?

Isabelle Allix: The world’s most famous models; from Missy Rider, Audrey Marnay, Rachel Zimmerman, Fernanda Motta and Heather Mark, to locally famous top models including Janet Ma and artist Tavia Yeung Yi.
