Shanghai Tang’s new Autumn/Winter collection out in stores.

Shanghai Tang‘s latest collection is inspired by the beauty of the optimistic spirit and resillient nature of China’s people, nature and environment. It is a rendition of vivid prints of the rapid pace of modernization and its clash with nature and culture in a series of beautiful prints featuring dense network of highways ‘Endless Knot‘ and a burst of vivid colours of people and cities in ‘Pixel‘.

The collection pays tribute to the Mongolian tribe, who represents the last frontier of China’s indigeous clutural tribe and adopting the motifs of ‘Ruyi’, a symbol of good fortune and the Mongolian beaded bold colour jewellery.

The Phoenix rising from the fire, a symbol of rebirth and new beginnings has been translated into abstract prints in the the collections modern gipaos and satin crepe saperates.
