Louis Vuitton Fall 2010

By Butterboom Writers  /  September 27, 2010

Marc Jacobs promotes a womanly silhouette for Fall.

After seasons of loose, boxy dresses, Louis Vuitton has finally had enough. The brand, through the direction of Marc Jacobs, is showing silhouettes that embrace curves with lots of volume through full skirts and ball dresses that emphasize the waist.

For Fall 2010, LV takes inspiration from the ’50s and ’60s silhouette with poodle skirts aplenty along with “Stepford wife”-style dresses. The bosom takes central focus with corseted tops and very cleavage-friendly necklines. We love the colours in this collection frpm toned down mustard to cream, sorbet yellow, blue, mint, rose, lavender, grey and off-white.

What to look out for from this collection:

  • poodle skirts
  • Stepford wife dresses
  • cleavage-friendly cuts

Looks we love:
