Longchamp’s glams up for Fall 2012.

This season “More is More” is the theme of Longchamp’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection; rich texture and refined details come together, creating glamorous looks. Vibrant shades of raspberry, burgundy and blue are used to bring touches of extravagance to the collection of 12 bags, six of which are limited pieces crafted in exotic fox fur, rabbit fur, in tiger print, camouflage printed on short hair and leather.

The Longchamp LM series this season sees an all-new leather collection added to its line. The LM Cuir features calf leather handbags and luggage embossed with the prancing horse. The collection is a manifestation of classic aesthetics.

A favourite among Hollywood starlets, the Balzane bag was also showcased at this preview. The new Balzane Souple is added to the collection. The new bag features calf leather and pleated leather, and is accented with croc-embossed cow leather, which is supple to the touch.

One of the many highlights at the press preview is the Le Pilage Cuir, a foldable sheep leather bag collection. This season’s Le Pilage Cuir bags’ gender-natural design makes them the perfect choice for both stylish men and women. The long awaited Jeremy Scott and Kate Moss for Longchamp collection will surly become one of the most coveted items of the season.

The Parisian fashion house may be well known for its fine leather bags, but they also have an exquisite range of couture and shoes. Continuing the trend of animal print from the Spring/Summer, Longchamp’s new collection is one both exotic and wild. Elements found in its signature handbag collections are injected into its shoes and Ready-to-Wear designs.
