Back for a second round, April sees the launch of the 2nd Kate Moss x TOPSHOP collection coming out on 30 April. Taking inspiration from her fabulous wardrobe and her love for the Balearic Islands, the new collection is a premium range of carefully embroidered smock-tops, silk blouses, white kaftans, bold Aztecs dresses and embroidered crochet lace dresses that are based on the vintage finds she wears in summer.
A versatile range, it also features Oriental-inspired pyjama style high-waisted pants, blouses and a coat in a floral print. 1920’s inspired flirty fringe dresses and glam bias cut liquid metallic lame dresses and print shirts that are perfect for cocktail hour and opulent tailored tuxes and trouser suits in black and black gold metallic mixes which offer a chic alternative to summer evening dressing. With fabric sourced from India, Italy and Soho in London, this is a truly global collection.
We love that we can get lots of Kate’s iconic outfit spotted on fashion and tabloid magazine from years past like the deep blue fringed jacket similar to one she has been spotted in at three Rolling Stones concerts and to which she refers to as her “gig jacket”, and a weave waistcoat – the epitome of her ’70’s inspired wardrobe.
Pieces in the Kate Moss x TOPSHOP 2014 collection will range from HK$500 – HK$10,000
The collection will be available at TOPSHOP and online at Topshop.com, Net-A-Porter and Nordstrom from 30th April 2014.
