Jean Paul Gaultier’s Racey Couture Show

Dita Von Teese turns up the heat at Jean Paul Gaultier’s Couture show.

Jean Paul Gaultier’s couture show is, as always, provocative. Held at Gaultier’s HQ on rue Saint-Martin, the theme was 1920s glamour.  The collection featured lots of black, jeweled tone satin, fur, exaggerated silhouettes, leather and some funny twisted turbans and over-the-top headgear. Jean Paul Gaultier’s obsession became apparent with the sheer volume of sleeves – some with power shoulder pads but all in outrageous designs.

Dita Von Teese made an appearance on the runway halfway through the show and did a striptease for the audience from a black column gown to reveal a skeletal black lingerie and a thonged backside that left little to the imagination but all in the name of fashion!
