Gucci’s Fall/Winter collection sneak peak.

If the Gucci Fall Winter 2010 collection is any indication, it seems that Gucci is bringing sexy back thanks to head designer Frida Giannini‘s influence. We noticed a refreshing absence of all things trendy and, instead, Ms. Giannini has decided to focus on what Gucci does best (during Tom Ford’s era) – beautifully tailored trousers paired with sleek satin blouses and slim-fitting dresses that hit the knee in beautiful soft neutrals of dove gray and cream.

There was also an abundance of beautiful patchwork coats in ostrich and suede which complimented the simple silhouettes of the dresses and pants perfectly while also adding a cheerful dose of print and color. it’s all about keeping things simple with a series of beautiful black dresses embellished in snake-patterned lace and ostrich that embrace the silhouette. To complete the united looks, Gianna made sure to add matching opaque tights and shoes.

Highlights from collection:

  • satin fitted shirts with tailored pants
  • slim fitted dresses with sexy cut-outs
  • soft shades of dove gray and cream
  • animal-inspired embellishments
