Cheaper younger range will be sold in stand-alone boutique in Hong Kong.
Want to look like a rock star but just can’t afford those sequinned skinnies, distressed tees and zippered jeans that all the celebs are wearing? Well you might just be in luck – Balmain are launching a cheaper diffusion line and the first images are in!
The diffusion line is aimed at a younger consumer and will produce both womens and mens wear, offering a more casual range whilst still retaining the brand’s grungy rock aesthetic, The Daily Mail.
Items will cost a fraction of clothes from the main line, with prices ranging from US$172 for a t-shirt up to US$1291 for evening gowns, with the brand’s famous jeans and leather jackets somewhere in-between. There are plans for stand-alone stores, including one in Hong Kong.
The official launch presentation of Pierre Balmain won’t be until September whilst the line itself isn’t released until December so these key looks will have to tide you over for now.
