Bottega Veneta presents a graphic and what may be their most dramatic ad campaign to date for Fall Winter 2010- 2011. The brand has tapped into the talent of renowned artist Robert Longo for this year’s advertisements as it’s a big year for them marking the first time their men’s line has run separate ads from the rest of the collections.
Inspired by Robert Longo’s series entitled “Men in Cities”, this year’s ads focus on silhouettes as well as contrasts on structure and fluidity, stillness and movement and, of course, the masculine and the feminine. The graphic nature of the photographs stems from their black and white treatment, and also lends a moody feel to the shoot.
This year’s Bottega ad campaign was shot in New York, and is expected to appear as usual only on the usual traditional glossies in the August issues.
