Ang Lee at Ferragamo Charity Event

‘Lust, Caution’ director in town this Saturday at Palace IFC.

Salvatore Ferragmo is having a charity premiere at the Palace IFC on Saturday night for “Lust, Caution,” and Ang Lee and the stars of the film will be on hand for the event:

Salvatore Ferragamo feels deeply honored to be able to contribute to society; not only through the sponsorship of tickets for the première, but also by creating four made-to-order limited edition crocodile clutches to be used for fundraising. The aim is to raise money for “HKU Culture and Humanities Fund” earmarked for “Project for Public Culture”, a pioneering programme initiated by Journalism and Media Studies Centre at The University of Hong Kong. Of the two styles of clutches, the more classic “Gancino” is the brand’s iconic accessory. Made with precious crocodile, it is a sure hit of the Salvatore Ferragamo Spring/Summer 2008 collection.

There is also an exhibition being held from September 22 -28 at the Oval Atrium featuring Ferragamo’s Fall/Winter collection. Marketers Alert: Ferragamo sure knows how to hit as many birds with 1 stone than any other fashion brand we know.

You can see the trailer and more info from our posting last week. And if you are attending please ask Mr. Lee for us, how he managed to screw up our favorite superhero character – The Hulk – movie so much? Yes, Golden Lion Award or not, we’re still mad.
