Chloe SS 15 Collection

Chloe’s Spring Summer ’15 show was a resounding success for creative director Clare Waight Keller. The brand debuted the collection at a special preview at The Pawn in Hong Kong.

A collection that focused on pretty yet precise pieces, elegant but not excessive volume, and a practical rather than pouty attitude. Flowing layers, hippy folk style, natural hair and make-up and easy going silhouettes were the focus of the collection, with models wafting down the runway in earthy shades of yellow, green and brown. Denim was a significant presence within the range; city shorts, boiler suits and chic oversized jackets helped to ground what is undeniably a very feminine collection.

The collection was dedicated to Gaby Aghion, who founded Chloé in 1952, and who passed away just before it’s debut. With such a distinct cool-girl element to it one cannot help but think that she would have been proud.
