Vibrant acid brights and pop art prints on some classic shapes.
London-based clothing and accessories brand Paul’s Boutique started life just over 10 years ago as a stall at London’s famous Portobello Market. They have since expanded to reach a global audience that love their fresh, urban aesthetic inspired by a combination of British eccentricity, New York in the 1980s and Japanese pop-culture. We love their Spring Summer 2013 collection, which is a celebration of colour, print and femininity all with a cool, street-style edge.
Flourescent colours are splashed liberally across the entire line and complemented with distinct prints and appliqué techniques to make the bags standout. Not for the fashion-fainthearted, the current collection from Paul’s Boutique is a riot of fun and perfect for adding a pop of colour to your spring wardrobe.
Our favourite has got to be the bucket bag. Available as a mini shoulder bag or large shopper size, the playful contrasting colours and tassel detailing make this an eye-catching statement. Made from soft, supple leather and featuring gold hardware, the classic silhouette keeps it timeless while the vibrant hues make sure it could never be considered boring.
