Dior Pushes the Envelope with Anselm Reyle

The legendary fashion house collaborates with the German artist on a fresh line of accessories.

Always one to break the mould, Dior has collaborated with German conceptual artist Anselm Relye to work on an exclusive line of accessories guaranteed to blow your mind. Available in Dior boutiques beginning in January of next year, the one-off range of bags, wedges and scarves will include classics such as Cannage Lady Dior and Miss Dior bags reinterpreted in Reyle’s artistic style.

Using his signature camouflage pattern, Reyle injects refreshing flashes of neon green, yellow and pink into the mix, bidding a temporary adieu to Dior’s more well-known soft and feminine tones. The top stitching on metallic leathers leave just enough iconic Dior details in there for all of their diehard fans, with the designer telling Dazed and Confused; “I’m interested in combinations that seem to be dissonant at first sight,” referring to his vibrant choice of colors.

So as the New Year rolls around, why not add a Reyle-solution to the Christmas list by integrating a touch of Dior pop art to your wardrobe? Trust us, it’ll be a quick-fix for a bad case of the winter blues!
