H&M announces another exciting designer collaboration, this time with cool-girl favourite, Alexander Wang. H&M announced this partnership yesterday during an event at the Coachella Music Festival, in Palm Springs, California, USA. This will mark the first time an american designer has collaborated with the Swedish high street brand.
Known for his easy and unrefined ‘model off duty’ take on fashion, New York-based Wang, who is also the creative director for Balenciaga, is a favourite amongst fashion elite and his designs are seen on everyone from supermodel Erin Wasson to musician Rhianna. Thus, a natural choice for H&M who epitomise fast, chic and unfussy fashion.
The Alexander Wang x H&M collection will feature apparel and accessories for women and men. Typical for his irreverent approach, one can expect a collection that pushes boundaries and sets a platform for creativity. The full collection will be available in 250 H&M stores worldwide, and online starting November 6, 2014.
