Hong Kong beauties win Miss Asia Pageant.

In a rare diversion of the shopping news we normally dish out, we thought that you would be interested to find out who this year’s winner of Miss Asia Pageant is.

She is Hong Konger, Miss Eunis Yao (in the middle), a student taking her Masters Degrees.  Winner of the first runner-up and Miss Photogenic is Miss Belinda Yan,(left)  also a student from Hong Kong.  Miss Lene Lai (right),  a model from Taiwan is the second runner-up winner.

Organized by Asia Television Limited (ATV) the Miss Asia Pageant invites contestants from all Asian countries to participate. Finalist from Asian Countries and Mainland China were gathered in Hong Kong on December 7 for the final crowning ceremony.  The public voted for the 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-ups through their mobile phone, internet MSN while the final winner was selected by a panel of  judges. This year’s pageant sponsor was Luk Fook Jewellery, who created the tiaras for winners.

What’s interesting about this Pageant is that there is no age limit, a definite rarity in beauty pageants.

Tell us if you agree Miss Eunis Yao was the fairest of them all!

See some of photos of other candidates here or visit the ATV site to see the rest.
