Four premium fragrances will be launched in December.
Just in time for Christmas, luxury French perfume house Geurlain, is launching four premium, limited-edition scents.
Celebrating its 100th anniversary, among the perfumes specially launched in December is L’Heure Bleue. Available in an extremely limited-edition bottle hand-crafted by crystal glassware company Baccarat and decorated by Parisian jewellery house, Gripoix, this scent evokes the memory of a bewitching woman with aromas of carnation, bergamot, iris and finally vanilla.
The second of these luxurious fragrances is a special edition of L’Heure Bleue itself. Created by in-house perfumer, Thierry Wasser, to celebrate 100 years of the scent, only 140 bottles have been made. The soft elegance of the original perfume is given contemporary sparkle with white musk, orange blossom and marshmallow. Available as a set, L’Heure Bleue 1912 – 2012 comes in three variants, L’Aurore, Le Zénith and Le Crépuscule alongside the original fragrance.
The final two fragrances come in Geurlain’s iconic bee-shaped bottle, L’Abeille. The first, Paradis Interdit is a full bodied floral fragrance with top-notes of rose berries, middle-notes of jasmine and ylang-ylang and base notes of vetiver and white musk. The bottle is beautifully crafted by Baccarat with hand painted 18 carat gold wings.
The second of L’Abeille range is Reve de Lune; once again floral but this time with added spice. Fresh notes of bergamot and lemon take the top spot before descending into ylang-ylang harmonized by pepper and then finally vanilla, tonka bean and balsam.
